3D Christmas

Good morning all!
I am here today to share a new technique with you and the November challenge over at Technique Tuesday. This month, Mynnette and all my DT sisters at Technique Tuesday want to see some 3D Punched elements on your card. They don't have to be Christmas themed, just 3D. Mynnette has posted a super easy tutorial on the Challenge blog and it is tons of fun to make these up.

Here is the card I made for the Design Crew this month:

November's Top Winner will receive 3 digital sentiments made by our lovely Captain, Mynnette, and each stamper who's card is showcased will receive 1 digital sentiment made Mynnette! ;) Here's the best part--THE WINNERS get to choose what they want their sentiment to say and what style! If this doesn't sound like something you'd like, you could choose from some sentiments that she already has made. :) More details will be forthcoming after winners are announced.

Be sure you pop by all my DT sisters blogs and Mynnette's to have a peek at their fabulous creations too.

Faux Leather Technique

Hello Blogland!
How are we doing these days? I know I am enjoying the disappearance of the humidity :) I love summer temperatures but I have discovered that with age comes the inability to cope with high humidity levels. It seems that once we got into September, the humidity went away and temperatures started dropping in the evening. Very nice sleeping weather!
Anyway, I am here to share my second Technique Tuesday DT card with you and of course a new technique. After all, thats why the blog is called Technique Tuesday, lol. The first Tuesday of the month, Mynnette posts a new technique challenge, complete with detailed instructions and pictures. You then have until the end of the month to complete a new card featuring that month's technique and link it up to the challenge post. If you have any problems with the technique, be sure you contact her or any of us on the Design Team for help.

September's technique is:
Faux Leather Using Masking Tape
You will find all of the instructions for this technique HERE.

September's Top Winner will receive 3 digital sentiments made by Mynnette, and each stamper who's card is showcased will receive 1 digital sentiment made by Mynnette! ;) Here's the best part--THE WINNERS get to choose what they want their sentiment to say and what style! If this doesn't sound like something you'd like, you could choose from some sentiments that she already have made. :)

This is the card I created for this month:

This technique was so easy and it didn't take long at all to do. I know I will be using this again and am even wondering how it would look done in different colours. Be sure to have a look at all of the other Design Team member's cards and pop by their blogs too. Each of them is very creative and we all have different styles so you will get a ton of inspiration.

Medium - CTMH Watercolour Pencils & Blending Pen
