Here is my take on both of these challenges:

Here is my take on today's sketch:
My daughter had bought these cute little bunny ears for her daughter and I just couldn't resist taking a couple of pictures. I knew I would use these pics for my April calendar page.
Card Recipe: Hot Off The Press Papers, Close To My Heart Flower Child & Simple Beauty stamp sets, Inks & Watercolour Pencils, unknown Brad, Ribbon and Rhinestones.
This is the card I made for my Mother-in-law for Mother's Day. She also had a birthday on May 8th, and I still have to make that card yet.
Products Used: Card stock, stamps, ink and colouring pencils are Close To My Heart, Stickles from Ranger Industries, Crafts ribbon and unknown flower.
Well, after 3 days of being super sick, I am not going to spend too long on here tonight, and am going to go relax with my husband and our puppies, Angel and Zeus. From my family to yours, have a very HAPPY EASTER!!
Hugs xo
And here is my take on it:
January 2009: I love the way the trees hang with their new "blankets" after a heavy snowfall. These pictures were taken by me after a particularly heavy snowfall in 2004.
February 2009: Because this is the month for Valentine's Day, I chose my husband's College Graduation picture. He returned to school in Sept. 2006 after being downsized in the forestry industry, and graduated from the Environmental Technology Program at Confederation College on June 6, 2008. James and I were high school sweethearts and have been married for 23 wonderful years. He is the love of my life and I am so proud of him for all of his hard work and his dedication to family and home.
March 2009: features our darling fur-babies, Angel and Zeus, all decked out for St. Patrick's Day. I just love dressing these little guys up for different occasions. They are brother and sister and will turn 3 this coming July 2nd. I spoil them terribly, but they deserve it.
For this card I used paper from Hot Off The Press, inks from Close To My Heart and unknown ribbon and flower. I even know exactly who I'm going to give this one to. I have a very dear friend who is always making quilts for everyone in her family, and her birthday is coming up soon. I know she will love this when she gets it. Well, until tomorrow's challenge, goodnight.

Here is the sketch for this week's card challenge over at 2 Sketches 4 You. Pop on on over to their blog and have a look at all the beautiful cards that were entered by everyone.
On March 8th, I put a post on here about a draw for a RAK hosted by Creative Journey. I was shocked to find out that I actually won this package. I couldn't believe it when I checked Christine's blog and read my post as the winning post!! I can't wait for this package to arrive and I am really excited to play with all of this cool stuff. Thank you so much Christine.
This week, 2 Sketches 4 You offered us a Bonus Sketch. Dawne Ivey designed such a super card sketch for our Bonus that I was flooded by so many different ideas, I had a hard time choosing which idea to follow. Believe me Dawne, I will use this sketch again. Thank you so much! Here is my take on this week's Bonus Sketch.
For this card I used Hot Off The Press 'Icy Rainbow' & 'Jewel' papers, Prima flower, We R Memory Keepers hardware, Fiskars border punch, Stamp-n Stuff embossing powder and Close To My Heart's 'Say It In Style' stamp set, ink pads and the March 2009 Stamp of the Month 'Butterfly Wings' stamp set.

Christine Penaflor from Creative Journey is offerring 2 very special RAKs this week. Her daughter, Christi, has created 2 beautiful t-shirts for C-28 Canvas and these are being voted on right now. Christi did have a previous design win a couple of months ago and that t-shirt will be printed and sold through C28.com very soon. I just want to encourage you to view Christi's newest designs at
