Christmas Flowers

Happy Sunday Blogland!
It is time for a brand new challenge at One Stitch At A Time. Challenge #136 is 'Use a Digi' and this theme is always super popular with you all. My digi image this time out was picked by my partner Nataliya. Her and I team up on the even number challenges which is awesome because we both have a slightly different style so you get to see the images from 2 very unique perspectives.

This week, our images turned out very different from each other as I chose to make mine up in Christmas colours.

Christmas Eve

Good morning folks:
Today is new challenge day at One Stitch At A Time! This week's challenge is #135 'Music or a Song'. With Christmas coming up so fast, I decided to do another Christmas card this week. I found such a cute image by Stitchy that I just couldn't resist. It reminded me of my grand-daughter, so I did it up in pinks. I chose 2 different songs to inspire me for this challenge:
'Christmas Eve' (Words and Music By: E. Richter Adapted By: Terry Kluytmans Copyright © 1999 KIDiddles.com) and 'Twas the Night Before Christmas" (Written By: Clement Clarke Moore). I think we all know the lyrics to 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' so I won't type those out, but here is the first verse to 'Christmas Eve':

Christmas Eve is here at last,
Come with bells a-ringing!
Holly wreaths and mistletoe,
Trees with twinkling lights aglow,
Little faces smiling so,
Christmas Eve is bringing.

Here is my card:

Boo-tiful Day

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all my fellow Canadians!

What a week this has been.....boy! My son and his new wife are now pretty much moved out of my house and settled into their new place; just a few things of my son's left here in the basement to trip over still. It is coming along though. The best part? His room is becoming my new scrapping studio!!!! My fabulous hubby is working on a few things in there and then I can set it up and move into it! I am so excited!
Today is turkey day here in Canada and I am cooking the big dinner for my family, complete with turnips, brussel sprouts, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy and of course, PIE. What is Thanksgiving without pumpkin pie, apple pie and lots of whipped cream? I have to have both as my son only eats pumpkin pie and my daughter won't even look at it if it isn't apple pie. Atleast now, I will eat apple as I use to have to make a blueberry pie as well. At Christmas, I save myself the headache by just making Death By Chocolate; pie is a Thanksgiving tradition though.

Anyway, now that I have prattled on long enough, (thats not what you stopped by for), here is my card for this week's "Boo" challenge at One Stitch At A Time.
