Newsman

Good Evening!
Well, its raining here again today, and we have even had a couple of thunder storms. My furr-babies are not impressed at all. Hubby will definitely have to fire up the lawn mower his next days off. Our grass did a lot of greening up after the 5 days straight of rain we had but it will really grow in leaps and bounds after these next 4 days of rain. He isn't impressed either, lol.

Anyway, we have an awesome challenge running this week at One Stitch At A Time, and the prizes that are being offered by several of my team-mates are spectacular! I wish I could play this time, so much candy I would love to win!! The theme is "Make it Stitchy". What this means is you MUST use a digital image or paper from our store, StitchyBear Digital Stamp Outlet. With 19 different creators, including Ms StitchyBear herself, I guarantee you will find something to design with. We are even having a sale right now with a spectacular discount AND there are Freebies too!!! Go ahead and check it out, I know you want to :)

Dahlia Fold Flowers

Good Day Everyone!
I am back today with the CASED card for this month's technique challenge, Dahlia Fold Flowers, over at Technique Time Tuesday. I am just loving all of the entries so far. Everyone is doing some fantastic work with this. I had a very difficult time choosing just one creation to case. I finally settled on entry # 2 by Shauna. In casing Shauna's card, I decided I would follow her layout but in a different colour scheme.

This is the card Shauna made:

I'm Gorgeous!

Hello!!!
I'm so excited; its my turn to host this month's challenge at Technique Time Tuesday! For my challenge, I chose Dahlia Folding. Once again, the amazing Mynnette has created an easy peasy tutorial for you to follow.
This is such a versatile technique, and I just love making these wonderful flowers for my projects. A few of my fabulous teammates posted some ideas for variations on my technique too. You can find those HERE. One easy way to vary your Dahlias is using a scallop circle punch, as I have, instead of a standard circle.
I was super happy when our leader, Mynnette, said I could make a scrapbook page for a change. I have been gradually re-doing my children's albums and chose to do one of my son's pages using this technique.
Here it is:

My son was almost a year old in this picture. He turned 29 this past December. Isn't he cute!
