Christmas Chickadees

Good morning everybody:
How is your weekend going? Its time for a brand new challenge at One Stitch At A Time. This week is
Just like regular bingo, you want to get a line that goes up & down or across or diagonally. If you really want to challenge yourself, go for a full card! The last time I took part in a bingo challenge, I did use the whole card but not this time.

Here is my card:

Now, I know you may be looking at this image and wondering what on earth I was thinking making this into a Christmas card?? Well, Christmas is a holiday that is celebrated on the same day in every country in the world, regardless of what season it is wherever you live. For instance, I happen to know that it is almost summer time in Australia now. Not every country is lucky enough to have beautiful snowy landscapes at Christmas, so this card is in honor of those countries. That is why I tried to colour the birds as chickadees and the flowers are suppose to be magnolias.
I chose to use the bottom row of our bingo card - CAS, Ribbon/Twine and Green.

Here is the bingo card with all of your options on it, and don't forget you must use a digi too.

Our sponsor this week is Creative Craftworld with 3 Promarkers for the winner who uses an image from Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps Outlet. There will also be a winner not using one of our digis for a $3.00 gift certificate to our store.

  2. Oh Tracey, how lovely of you to consider friends in countries that celebrate Christmas in sunny climes ....personally, even though I live in the UK, I love this Christmas card as it is a reminder that our grey winter days do pass and just look at all we have to look forward too. A lovely, warm and very pretty Christmas card. Love Ingrid xxx ♥

  3. Reflecting on the different seasons around the world at this time of year is such a lovely idea - I always get caught up in the cold, wintry scenes we have in UK, never stopped to think that it is so different around the planet!!
